Our first ever New Year’s Eve together was spent at The Drake hotel, it was conveniently located near our place in Parkdale at the time and we were able to walk there. Over recent years, and since moving a bit further out of the city, we’ve become home bodies, wanting to stay in to make our own – comfortable magic. However the glitz and glam of the city on NYE is always calling so we put together this list of sure fire places we would want to have a buzz in the city we love!

1. THE DRAKE HOTEL – our top spot for a reliable good time. With multiple levels, DJ’s & vibes – this Queen West haunt is everything you could want in a NYE experience. Start your night by enjoying a multi-course menu by Chef Taylor McMeekin and stay for an iconic GIMME GIMME dance party with High Tide Toronto bringing the disco house. Ticket includes passed canapes and a complimentary welcome cocktail! Get your tickets because this event is sure to sell out!
2. VALERIE – Located on the 27th & 28th floors of Hotel X, this swanky spot in the sky boasts immaculate views of the city. They’re hosting two – 5 course dinner seatings followed by a dazzling Black & White ball. Look forward to party favours and a glass of bubbles while you take in the fireworks from the waterfront.
3. W HOTEL TORONTO – One event we’re seriously considering is this electric NYE party with headliner Frank Walker. EDM fans rejoice, this is where heartbeats meet luxury. Catch a vibe in the Living Room while sipping W curated cocktails and enjoy Toronto neighbourhood inspired street food by 416 Night Market. Tickets include cover, a Belvedere welcome cocktail and two snack tickets per person!
4. ULTRA – Ring in 2024 in style at Ultra and experience a Golden Affair — a Gatsby-themed New Year’s Eve extravaganza. A glamorous night of exquisite cuisine, entertainment and festive fun awaits at the ultimate NYE celebration. There’s big hype around this new Alexander McQueen decor inspired supper club and it is sure to transport you into the sophisticated & glamorous evening of your dreams.
5. COUNTDOWN NYE – The largest NYE celebration held at Toronto’s premier event facility, Liberty Grand. Year-after-year this swanky event has brought thousands of well-dressed party people to ring in the new years at this sophisticated banquet hall. Tickets start at $30 with bottle service packages available!
